In the Media

Kellee, in her various guises, regularly appears in the media.  Unfortunately, until now, we have not been keeping track of that … but that is all set to change now.

If you spot Kellee in the media and do not see it listed here (yes, we have been known to miss things) then please drop us an email and let us know. Similarly please let us know if you find a dead link, as often articles do not remain online indefinitely.

Australian Woman’s Weekly -  2009

Kellee is doing articles and blog posts for the Australian Woman’s Weekly website, currently focussed on their World Wide Walk promotion (May – July 2009 issues). In this post she discusses links between bad sleeping habits and weight gain.

Please note: The links to Woman’s Weekly only remain live for a finite amount of time, after which Woman’s Weekly remove the article. However, if you check our free resources section you will usually find we have kept a copy of the article there for you.

A Current Affair – January 2009

Kellee appeared on Extra, a current affairs style TV program, as a part of the promotion above. Unfortunately we did not ask for permission to use the footage from this here. Kellee has appeared several times in the past as an expert for this program.

The Courier Mail – January 2009

During a media promotion for SizeXchange, where Kellee does some consulting, this article appeared in the Courier Mail. Yes, that is Kellee leaping out of the photo at you!

Brisbane Extra – 2008

Kellee did a TV segment for Brisbane Extra on Chanel 9 about stress management in your everyday life.

About

The Mind & Body Program is the brainchild of psychologist and fitness coach Kellee Waters. It is a free resource offered to Australian familes to help combat the growing trend of obesity within the community.

Our sixteen week program targets obesity from a psychological foundation, with an individual and family perspective combining nutrition, activity and skill based education. Our holistic approach not only addresses the problems associated with weight gain and bad eating habits but also aspects such as a lack of motivation and activity, family stresses and a large array of additional problems with obesity for both adults and children.
